Mom to visit home

Dad called me with an update.
Mom is getting better step by step.

Tuesday, 11/26, she is scheduled to visit with a therapist for a home evaluation.

That will determine what type and how much therapy she needs before she can move back home.
A bit of arranging at home is needed before then, to show that she can live on the first floor.

Mom was released from isolation today.  She was able to join others in the group physical therapy.  She was able to walk the whole distance from therapy back to the room with her walker.  She was to be moving rooms again this evening.

She still seems to not consistently do her throat exercises, nor sit up in a wheel chair like she should.
However, she is now getting the next step thinner water, although still thickened.

She appreciates visits, and wonders why I do not visit more.  I imagine it is hard to have a feel for days of week, and the time just drags on.

Mom wants to come home, and seems to either not understand or completely accept that coming home is up to her exercising and her physical recovery.
