Mom considered safe to stay at home alone.

A meeting at the house with a medical social worker today was uneventful and went well.
She was convinced that Mom is safe at home. She is going to help by making some recommendations for pill dispenser with alarm reminder, and phone ringer with flashing light. The nurse, after her second visit, was less worried as well.

The social worker seemed surprised that the hired help from before, the private duty care, would not want to work in the house with the current level of clutter. Of course, Aunt Luise cleaned up a lot since then, and the social worker did not look into Dad's old room which is still quite a bit cluttered. However, she has hopes that a firm she will recommend will work with the current situation, and do light housekeeping such as some vacuuming, ignoring the areas that are too cluttered to be anything other than storage.

The social worker seemed to have an enjoyable visit, so that was a relief to me.
