Mom received Avon soap from volunteer for Mother's Day

Mom seemed to be in fairly good spirits today.  Rather than visiting today, I gave her a phone call.

She seemed completely normal.

A volunteer gave Mom and her roommate a bottle of Avon liquid shower soap.  Mom really appreciated it, and was impressed with the expense.

Mom's doctor was there today.  Mom was very surprised to see him on a Sunday, and on Mother's Day.  He did not spend long, but confirmed that it was meningitis, and that the upcoming weeks of antibiotics would clear it up.  It is unclear exactly when Mom will move to a rehab center, but it might be as soon as tomorrow, Monday.

Mom did not mention being nervous in the hospital at night, and I decided to not bring it up.  Since she did not mention it, and she was in good spirits, I take it to mean she had an OK night.
